 Les
Chalets de Bellevue is a new development (completed end of 2002)
in the charming traditional alpine village of Les Houches, at
the foot of Mont-Blanc in the Chamonix valley. It is only 5km
from Chamonix, and a 1 hour drive from Geneva airport.
The
hamlets of Les Houches have preserved much of their Haute Savoie
architecture including Baroque churches and chapels, and the
village provides a stark contrast to more modern purpose built
ski resorts. Its location within the Mont-Blanc valley provides
exceptional views of the Mont Blanc mountain chain, and in particular
the spectacular Aiguille du Midi.
 The
apartment is ideally positioned adjacent to the men's downhill
course, providing virtually ski-in ski-out accommodation for
skiers of intermediate level and above. The Bellevue cable car
is a 2 minute walk from the apartment, as is the bus stop serving
Chamonix and other ski areas. As well as having a peaceful and
natural environment there are shops and restaurants nearby,
as well as tennis courts and a tranquil lake.
 Skiing
in Les Houches is extremely varied and together with the neighbouring
resorts in the Chamonix valley provides endless descents
and enjoyment for all abilities. In summer, Les Houches turns
into a
vibrant landscape with colourful mountains overlooked by snow
capped peaks, providing a perfect setting for hiking, cycling
and many other activities.
 Les
Houches is a beautiful place where you can be inspired, relax
and get away from it all. The apartment is ideal
for those who enjoy stunning alpine scenery and require easy
access to the ski slopes, shops and all that the Chamonix valley
has to offer.
